Scummers And Skates Crossing The Divide In The Cause Of Charity

In the old days Saints and Pompey fans used to get on, the rivalry was friendly and it wasn't uncommon for fans of both sides to go along and watch the other, that all changed, but now its changing again !

Who are we?

We are a group of football fans, predominantly from Southampton and Portsmouth who decided to put rivalry behind us (although there still is a fair amount of banter) to raise money for charitable causes. For those unaware, our name derives from the names each team’s fans call each other.

What we do……

In 2012 we helped raise a total of £10000.00 for the Jamie Janes Trust by holding various fundraising events, the main one being a sponsored walk where one group left from St Mary’s and another left from Fratton Park, we then met at the Joseph Paxton Pub in Titchfield Common, that walk alone raised £3000.

After having a year off of fundraising, we decided that we would make 2014 a year to help children with various special needs.

Our Five Little Stars

BRANDON has severe learning difficulties, epilepsy, meningocele, deafness in one ear, bilateral cleft lip and palate, laryngospasm, anaphylaxis, asthma, eczema and a heart murmur. (And prone to wandering off!)

JACK has quite severe speech and communication needs. He has Oromotor dyspraxia, Autism, Organisational motor dyspraxia, auditory memory difficulties and Complex speech disorder.

JAIDEN has Asperger’s.

AIDEN has Cerebral Palsy.

JAMEY LEE has chromosome deletion and she's severely mentally and physically disabled and registered blind.

We are holding various events in the SO and PO postcode areas, and hope we will get great support again.
