Scummers And Skates Family Fun Day At The Anchor Redbridge
If you are at a loose end on Saturday why not pop down to the Anchor Pub at Redbridge and support a worthy cause.
The Scummers And Skates are an organisation set up by Saints & Pompey supporters to raise money for kids in need and on Saturday August 2nd they are having a family fun day at the Anchor Pub in Redbridge.
Starting at 12,30 it will have lots of the things you usually find at these sort of events, a bouncy castle, stalls, raffles, face painting and a bungee jump, not to mention plenty of food and drink plus live music.
With a large garden and plenty of parking in the area why not pop down and lend your support to this worth cause, even if you just spend a pound or two on the raffle it will all be gratefully received and put to good use by this group of football supporters who have put their rivalries aside to help out those kids less fortunate than themselves.
So far this worthy organisation has raised over £16,000 to help local children in both the Southampton & Portsmouth areas, despite only forming fairly recently they have made a big impact on helping some severely ill and disabled children, please do what you can to help them help these kids.
The Anchor Pub is in Old Redbridge just under the causeway on Test Lane and is easily reached by both road and rail being a five minute walk from both Redbridge and Totton stations
