Dale Bar open on Saturday
Once again, we will be inviting all supporters to come and have a drink at the club’s bars before matches this season starting with this weekend’s game with Peterborough United.
This season, the intention is to run the Ratcliffe Bars as two separate bars, with the intention that Dale supporters go in the Dale Bar, and away supporters will use the Ratcliffe Suite. It goes without saying that there are no restrictions on either bar, and Dale supporters will be able to go in either of the two bars.
As part of this, the Dale Trust desk will now be housed in the Dale Bar rather than the Ratcliffe Suite as it has for the last few years. Supporters will be able to join the Trust at the desk or speak about any Dale related issues with representatives of the Trust. Furthermore, with the Trust sponsoring the Team sheets once again this season, supporters will be able to collect team sheets from the Trust desk from around 2:15pm.
Season ticket holders and Trust members will be able to receive a discount of 50p off a pint of lager or bitter between 12pm and 2pm on Saturdays, and between 5pm and 7pm on weekend fixtures. Supporters must show their season ticket or Trust card to receive this discount. This discount will only apply in the Dale Bar. And despite the local rumour mill, there have been no price increases once again in the Dale Bar this season.
Should either bar be unavailable at any stage during the season, we will advise supporters of the arrangements that will be in operation.
