City Take On Liverpool In Bank Holiday Clash
City take on last seasons Premier League runners up Liverpool in their first home game of the new season. Last seasons games between the two were hard fought close encounters. City only dropped five points at home lasts season en route to lifting the title. The talk in Liverpool this week as all been about the imminent arrival of Mario Balotelli, but he won't be signed in time to feature against his former club. Both clubs opened the season with a win.

Pellegrini has confirmed that Eliaquim Mangala will not be involved against Liverpool. Sergio Aguero and Frank Lampard will be available, though they will not be 100 per cent. Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna will have stepped up their fitness in the week and could be eased back into action.
Alberto Moreno is available and will compete for a starting berth with Glen Johnson at left-back, with fellow newcomer Javier Manquillo set to keep his place on the right. Emre Can, Joe Allen and Lucas are all fighting for one spot in midfield alongside Gerrard.
