Normality Returns In Bookies Odds On Saints
Four weeks ago I did a piece on this site regarding how the Daily Echo had done a shock horror exclusive as how the Bookies were slashing Saints odds for relegation, so lets look at where we are now.
On the 4th of August some Bookies were offering 4/1 on Saints getting relegated that is true, but that was only a small reduction from the 7-10/1 being offered on 30th May, indeed Saints started the summer being 13th favourites out of 20 to be relegated and even in August despite the odds dropping we were still only down to 10th out of 20.
Now some normality has returned and a look at most bookies odds this morning reveals that our odds now are between 8-10/1 to go down and we are 11th favourites for the drop, Swansea understandably staying ahead of us after their start and Stoke as well.
So the Koeman Touch is starting to take affect not just at the club and the dressing room but in the bookies as well, the paic of a month ago is over, Saints supporters are starting to see that the club has been proactive in rebuilding and share the optimism of the fans.

Southampton At Leicester The DebacleThe big question is how can a side that was so tight at the back, so clinical up front and who could pass the ball around almost with their eyes closed, become the disorganised rabble that they were at the Leicester City this evening.
Southampton At Leicester City The PreviewSaints travel up to Leicester knowing that it is almost certain that they will just be in the play offs come the end of the season, however there is still the feint hope of 3rd place to play for, however the Foxes are playing for a bigger prize.
