Sheffield United Ticketing Information To Get £15 Offer
Many Saints season ticket holders have purchased tickets today for the Sheffield United Capital One Cup tie at Bramall Lane only to find they have been charged full price.
It was good news for Saints season ticket holders when Sheffield United announced the prices for the forthcoming Capital One Cup Tie, if £17 wasn't cheap enough, the Blades had slashed prices for their adult season ticket holders by £2, this meant that they also had to give the same discount to the travelling Saints fans.
Saints season ticket holders who went on to the Club's official site this morning to buy tickets however have found that they have been paying the full £17 for tickets, this is because its not clear that you need to change the ticket category drop down box from Adult, its default setting, to "Adult STH".
Most fans I have spoken to have assumed that given that they have had to give their season ticket numbers that the Adult selection would automatically charge them the £15, but this is not the case, it seems the system cannot do this automatically so it needs to be changed manually to apply the discount.
There is no suggestion that Saints are doing this deliberately for any kind of gain only that they have not been too clear on the website that you need to do a manual change yourself to get the lower price.
So if you are a season ticket who wants to make sure that you get your discount, then change the ticket category from Adult to "Adult STH"
