Palace Tickets Selling Fast
Tickets went on general sale for the FA Cup 4th Round tie with Crystal Palace today and the initial signs are that they are selling fast.
After the first 7 hours of sale of tickets for the visit of Crystal Palace on Saturday in the FA Cup it looks like the game is heading for a sell out with a long wait early on for the online and telephone booking systems.
A view of the online system shows that although there is still some availability in most areas but that is likely not to be the case for much longer.
Palace have only taken the usual 3,200 tickets that they would be allocated for a league game but the rest of the Northam end is for Saints fans and there are now very few tickets still available.
Other areas of the ground are showing similar signs the Itchen/Northam corner has only the odd seat dotted about still available.
The only area with reasonable availability is in the Chapel End and there are the usual areas still available with groups of over 3-4 able to buy tickets together, but these are in the usual areas at the back of the stand or directly behind the goal.
Looking at ticket sales patterns for recent home games and indeed the Ipswich tie in the 3rd round I would be surprised if these tickets were still left by Wednesday evening.
