City Fired Up For Chelsea
Vincent Kompany is looking forward to City's crucial trip to Stamford Bridge in two weeks time to take on current Premier League leader Chelsea. The City captain returned to the centre of City's defence for the first time since December last Sunday and conceded the first-half penalty that put the Blue's on the back foot.
Defeat at Stamford Bridge would see Manuel Pellegrini's side slip eight points off the pace with 15 games to play, and Kompany says that he and his teammates are "fired up" for the visit.
"In theory it should be better for us now because we will definitely be more fired up for that match," he told Sky Sports News.
"We have always been great in games like this so I'm actually looking forward to it."
