Another Day Another Dutchman Linked

Saints are being linked with yet another Dutchman and yet another Feyenoord player as the rumour mill goes mad.

Saints are being linked with Lex Immers the Feyenoord midfielder, Immers who will be 29 in June can as you would expect play in several positions including central midfield on the wing or up front has had a decent season for the Rotterdam club and is maintaining his normal average of around a goal in every three games.

Immers is no stranger to controversy having grown up in The Hague and supporting the local team ADO Den Haag, whom he has a tattoo of a stork the symbol of the City and the club on his back, ADO who are considered the Millwall of Holland in many respects because of their volatile support were the club he started his career with and he was in trouble in March 2011 when he made references about Jews after ADO had beaten Ajax.

Again signing Immers might be about getting strength in depth should Saints qualify for the Europa League, Feyenoord fans must be getting sick of their players being linked with Saints.
