Harry Redknapp Could Have Signed Nathaniel Clyne

Harry Redknapp with his confession that he could have signed Nathaniel Clyne. Is now only three players short of entering the Guinness Book of records for being the most influential manager in football ever.

During a managerial career that has spanned over three decades Redknapp has been responsible for the development of over 400,000 players in the history of the game.

In fairness Redknapp has only ever claimed credit for around 375,000 but researchers working for the Guinness Book of records have confirmed that Redknapp's influence has actually extended a lot further than even his own ego could comprehend.

Redknapp is thought to have been a big influence on the Preston North End Invincible's team of 1888/89, despite not being due to be born for almost 60 years Redknapp could have bought several of the side for Bournemouth in the early 1980's a move that was only thwarted by the Cherries lack of money at the time.

Stanley Matthews was also a recipient of Redknapps talent for discovering average players and making them great and even Pele was only ever considered an average player before reading a book written by Redknapp's dog Rosie called "A guide to using the Internet and developing Brazilians"

After Redknapp's latest revelation that he could have signed Nathaniel Clyne after a chance meeting in a South London Maternity hospital some 24 years ago, it was also revealed that the ex Spurs manager is expected to pass the 400,000 mark in around 4 weeks, at his current high level of press exposure it should be fairly easy to link the final 25,000 players needed in that time.

The saddest thing though is how much the English game has missed out through Harry not signing players, if Harry had been in management in 1970 it is believed that England would have won the World Cup in that year without playing a game, marching unopposed to the final.

Likewise the same tournament in 1974 & 1978, indeed its believed that the FA backpedalled on appointing Redknapp to the national team managers post as it would have proved a big obstacle in an inaugural intergalactic galaxy cup tournament although Redknapp denied this saying " I can't even read or write or send an e mail let alone communicate with creatures from another galaxy"

It has also been revealed that the only publication yet to publish a Harry Redknapp quote is a parish magazine in Northumberland.
