Clasie Returns To Action
Jordy Clasie returned to action playing for the Saints U21 team on Monday night against Manchester City at Staplewood.
Saints fans will be relieved to hear that Jordy Clasie has already returned to action after suffering a hamstring problem which forced him off against Vitesse just under a fortnight ago.
He started the U21 game against Manchester City and played the first half, however he came off two minutes into the second half after a collision with a City player and was taken off as a precaution, although it appeared that it was unconnected to his hamstring, more a question of making sure that he did not pick up another knock.
Whether he is fit enough to start against Everton on Saturday is still in question, however it looks like he will be fit enough to be on the bench.
Saints drew with City 2-2 and where disappointed as they conceded a stoppage time equaliser, both of Saints goals were scored by Marcus Barnes
