Steven Davis And Matt Targett Fit For The Trip To Swansea City
Good news for Saints fans, Steven Davis & Matt Targett are fit and raring to go for the trip to South Wales to take on Swansea City.
Steven Davis is back in the Saints squad for the trip to Swansea City after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury.
"Steven Davis is back,” Ronald Koeman told the club's official website.
"He's back in the team, he did a good week of sessions in training and no other updates."
"Still Jay Rodriguez is out, Florin Gardos is out. Victor Wanyama we know is suspended and the rest of the players are available.
"It's important for the last part of the season to have everybody available and we know Steven is an important player for the team, he is an experienced player and I am happy that he is back.”
Matt Targett will also return to the squad after missing the win over West Ham United.
This gives Ronald Koeman a nice problem to have with the pair back and means he has to decide whether to return to the formation that did so well in beating Manchester United at Old Trafford or stick with the one that beat West Ham.
