Free Parking For Saints Fans For Wembley Semi !

Parking is not only difficult to find at Wembley but expensive, however we have been contacted by Wealdstone FC who are offering Saints fans a free option as well as use of their club house.

Wealdstone FC are a Conference South League club now based in Ruislip, around 7 miles from Wembley. Many Saints fans used their facilities for our game in the League Cup Final last season and are again invited to return this year.

Their clubhouse has excellent bar and catering facilities and can comfortably handle upwards of 500 supporters and will be open from 10 am on the day of our semi final against Chelsea.

The club always has two real ales on tap as well as a selection of lagers. Drink pricing is reasonable — around £3.60 a pint.

They also have an advantage over pubs in that it is a family-friendly environment. Although children are allowed in the bars, they have a number of adjacent football pitches which allow kids to run around. Based on numbers the supporters club will run a reasonably priced barbeque.

Saints fans can park their cars, mini buses and Coaches at the ground in a secure environment and, being just off the main road the Polish War Memorial junction on the A40/M40, affords a quick getaway back to the M25 and M3 after the game. They have the added advantage that coach(es) will not have to negotiate the Wembley Stadium traffic or spend an hour getting out of their coach park not to mention the £90 parking fee .

The club is a 5 minute walk from Ruislip tube station which in turn is a 15 minute tube ride down to Wembley Park. Fare is £1.50 each way using a contactless card. Trains go every 8-10 minutes.

As Saints fans who visited last year found out, this is something that Wealdstone FC do for all the big games at Wembley and they have hosted Man City, Aston Villa, Huddersfield and Swansea to name but a few, with around 500 of them using the ground as a base both pre and post match .

The best is for last though, parking is all free, they do not ask for a charge to park but hope that supporters will use their facilities, and most who go there do just that, given the prices and queues in the bars around Wembley Stadium itself.

Please note that only pre-booked coaches mini-buses and cars will be admitted. They ask that everyone pre books so they know the limit of how many people they can adequately look after, so they can make sure there is enough staff as well as food and drink.

With parking for coaches at £90 a time and it difficult to find any car parking for less than £20 anywhere in the stadium area, not to mention the queues to get out and traffic, Wealdstone FC is a great option.

The really good thing though is that you will be helping a great non league club with tradition continue to prosper with the money that you spend in their bar and their can't be a better reason than that.
