Boro bounce in
There's more pre-season action this Tuesday evening when Championship side Middlesbrough come to the Crown Oil Arena.
Fresh from Saturday's win over Hull, Keith Hill is expected to make a number of changes for this game bringing in many of those who missed out on Saturday. In his words, the focus is now on reaching 90 minute fitness.
With recent speculation about a move to Manchester United, all eyes will be looking out for Daniel Ashead who made a late appearance on Saturday. The 16 year old has impressed each time he has played for the club.
The game is likely to be our toughest fixture of the preseason campaign with Middlesbrough amongst the favourites to win the Championship this season. They have spent big again this Summer with £7 million spent on Bristol City's Aden Flint and £5 million on Sunderland's Paddy McNair and facing any side managed by Tony Pulis will be very different to the games we have encountered so far.
The two sides met at Spotland almost a year ago to the day in a friendly that Dale ran out as 2-0 winners thanks to an own goal and a late Ollie Rathbone effort.
Admission to the game is £10 for adults and £5 for those sixteen and under with kick off at 7:30pm.
