Saints Announce Fans Forum

If you have had a moan about Ralph Krueger & Les Reed and are worried about the direction of the club, then here is your chance to ask them directly about your concerns

Saints have announced the first of a series of fans forums allowing supporters to meet with key members of the club and ask them questions.

The statement on the official website confirmed the details as follows.

Southampton Football Club is pleased to announce that the first of its new, regular fans’ forums will take place on Thursday 16th August.

The club has committed to hosting a series of the events throughout the course of this season, to enhance its communication with supporters. Further forums are set to take place in December and May, dates of which will be confirmed in due course.

The first of these will take place at St Mary’s Stadium, from 7pm to 8pm BST, and is due to feature chairman Ralph Krueger, vice chairman (football) Les Reed, manager Mark Hughes and a first-team player.

BBC Radio Solent’s sports editor Adam Blackmore will lead the forum, which will allow fans a chance to pose questions to members of the panel.

A total of 400 tickets will be available for the event, which will take place in the Mike Channon Suite and which is open to Season Ticket holders and Official Members only.

The price will be £2 per ticket, with 100 per cent of the money going towards Saints Foundation and the vital work it carries out in the community.

The club has also recently launched a new Saints Voice supporters’ panel that will meet regularly with staff at St Mary’s about a wide variety of issues, the first of which will be at Saints' opening game of the season against Burnley.

The Mike Channon Suite is fully accessible, but if you have any questions or additional requirements, please contact our Supporter Relations team on 02380 711980 or by emailing supporterrelations@saintsfc.co.uk. Those registered as a disabled supporter on our system can bring an enabler without the enabler requiring a ticket.

Tickets will be sold online only, via tickets.saintsfc.co.uk from 9am on Tuesday 7th August.

If you can’t make the event, don’t worry, as we will be bringing you live coverage of it across our channels.
