Saints Have Six Injury Doubts For The Huddersfield Game
Saints have injury doubts for the trip to Huddersfield with half a dozen players on the injury list going into the game.
Last week against Arsenal saw Saints missing five of the squad through injury and that has increased to six for the visit to Yorkshire.
Ryan Bertrand is still recovering from his back injury and last weekend he was joined by Jack Stephens with a knee injury, Cedric with a calf strain, Michael Obafemi with a hamstring issue and Mario Lemina with a stomach issue.
They are joined by Nathan Redmond who was forced off after being tackled in the second half of the win against the Gunners to bring the total to six.
So far only Ryan Bertrand has been definitely ruled out and the club have been slow to report on the other injured players presumably to keep Huddersfield guessing ahead of the game.
The two that Saints fans would really like to see return to the squad are Nathan Redmond and Mario Lemina , both have been excellent in the past month or so and Redmond put in a great cross on Sunday for Danny Ings second goal.
Although Ralph Hasenhuttl will feel that he has the depth to cover these two players, especially with Lemina, Redmond is a different story and in recent weeks his willingness to run at players has been key to Saints.
