Perhaps the most satisfying news surrounding the club this season, Francis Benali has hit his magic number to complete the challenge he set himself.

5 years ago Franny set himself this mammoth fundraising target. It has been one hell of a journey to get there but he has never given up and stuck true to his word.

A Truly remarkable effort and one that in three challenges over five years Francis Benali has put himself through sheer hell to achieve, the challenges have been gruelling enough, but to even put himself in the physical condition to be able to achieve them has seen him have to endure months of hard intensive training in the months running up to the event.
This has been a real sacrifice on Franny's part, he has seen that he has been lucky enough that football has made him comfortable in his personal life, that means that he had the time to be able to do the training, he could easily have spent that time doing something nice with his family, but instead he gave that time up and decided to help others.
It is not too late to give using the links above, I urge you to do so even if it is just a poud or two.
From every Saints supporter and indeed from anyone in this country whose lives have been touched by this awful disease we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
