23 Man Squad For Feyenoord Confirmed
Ralph Hasenhuttl will take a 23 man squad to Holland to take on Feyenoord but there are still a couple of notable exceptions.
Whilst the squad will be missing both Charlie Austin and Mario Lemina who have been excluded by Ralph Hasenhuttl it will also be without Guido Carillo, Mou Elyounoussi and for various reasons as well as new signing Moussa Djenepo who presuambly only having reported for training after International duty is not being risked.
There is no place for Jack Stephens who now seems to be 5th choice in central defence behind Yoshida, Bednarek, Vestergaard and Hoedt all of whom do travel.
However it does include some of the players who the club are willing to listen to offers for, Cedric & Sofiane Boufal being the two most prominent.
It is though the best benchmark yet as a clue to Ralph Hasenhuttl's thinking for the coming season.
The squad for the trip to Netherlands, which includes a small number of players who have also made their way back from Macau, is as follows...
- Angus Gunn
- Alex McCarthy
- Fraser Forster
- Yan Valery
- Cédric
- Maya Yoshida
- Jannik Vestergaard
- Jan Bednarek
- Wesley Hoedt
- Ryan Bertrand
- Jake Vokins
- Pierre-Emile Højbjerg
- James Ward-Prowse
- Will Smallbone
- Harrison Reed
- Stuart Armstrong
- Josh Sims
- Sofiane Boufal
- Nathan Redmond
- Shane Long
- Danny Ings
- Che Adams
- Michael Obafemi
