Support Saints At AfCTotton For Women's Football Weekend

Saints women take on their counterparts from AFC Bournemouth on Sunday at AFC Totton in the quarter finals of the Hampshire Cup and there is a free burger and drink for the first 1,000 through the gate.

AFC Totton could be setting a record-breaking attendance for Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s Saints Women's team, who will host AFC Bournemouth at Snows Stadium in the quarter-finals of the Hampshire Cup.

The previous ground record was set when AFC Totton hosted Bristol Rovers in the 2nd round of the FA Cup in December 2011, but that could well be beaten for this game on Sunday given the publicity it is getting.

Virgin Media are paying for fans attending the game to have a free burger and drink, for the first 1,000 supporters to buy a ticket, with ticket prices only £3 for adults and £1 for under-18s.

As this is a cup game all have to pay including Saints season ticket holders and those who have season tickets for the women's team itself, however the price won't break the bank.

Saints are once again enjoying an incredible season, topping Division One South West of the FA Women’s National League after an unbeaten start to the campaign, and still fighting in four separate competitions.

That comes off the back of them storming to promotion last season, when they won every single game they played in the Southern Region Premier Division.

It will be a great family day out with fans attending the match also getting the chance to hear the Saints Brass playing, as well as getting the opportunity to test their FIFA skills in the Virgin Media Saintsmobile, on top of a range of other entertainment.

The game kicks off at 3pm on Sunday 17th November and tickets can bought from St Mary's or you can just pay on the day.

Turnstiles will open at 12.30pm, with Snows Stadium found on Salisbury Road, Totton, SO40 2RW.

The ground is modern and has a large main stand, a smaller stand on the opposite side of the pitch and terracing on all four sides so it creates a nice little atmosphere as it is a true football stadium rather than just an enclosed pitch.

There is no onsite parking available, but there is ample room on the adjacent Calmore Industrial estate, both in car parks and on the road, although be careful not to park on someone's forecourt.
