Protest March Planned On Saturday
West Ham Fans are planning a protest march ahead for the fixture against Saints on Saturday as they strive to get democratic elections to the club's official supporters board.
If you don't like the club owners don't just whinge get out there and protest is the motto of West Ham supporters and after an off the cuff non matchday demo at the London Stadium a few weeks ago, a matchday demo against Everton and the pre planned protests at Anfield last night there will be more protesting before their game with Saints on Saturday.
The Unhappy Hammers are planning a protest march along Newham Greenway near their old ground to the London Stadium before they play us. Around 900 fans staged a protest against Sullivan and Gold before the Everton game last month amid growing unrest among a section of supporters suggests that this will be bigger as more fans become disgruntled.
Last night, protests continued as West Ham lost 3-2 at Liverpool. One banner read: "Run like a circus – Owned by clowns”. Another stated: "GSB out – Sold a dream, delivered a nightmare.”
Their beef with the club is not a lack of investment, the Hammers have spent £200 million on transfer fees in the last two years, but the way the club is run.
