AFC Totton V Eastleigh Today For Southampton Non League Bragging Rights

If you fancy watching a bit of live football perhaps for the first time in 18 months, then why not pop along for the South Coast Derby being played at the Snows Stadium in Totton this afternoon as the Stage take on the Spitfires at 3pm.

Eastleigh have gone from a Wessex League side to the fringes of the Football League itself in the last decade or so and AFC Totton are keen to replicate that success this coming season after two years of disruption due to Covid 19.

The two sides meet this afternoon at the Snows Stadium at 3pm in what although a friendly will be about bragging rights in the Southampton non league scene.

On Tuesday evening a depleted Totton side lost to Saints B in front of almost 600 spectators and another big crowd is expected this afternoon.

In that game on Tuesday for many in the crowd, it was more about the fun of actually being back at live football and meeting up with friends and a beer or two along the way than it was about the match itself and although that will be very much to the fore again, this match has an edge about it that will make it a lot more competitive.

You can pay on the gate, £7.50 for adults, £5 for concessions and kids under 13 free, or you can buy tickets in advance at

The Snows Stadium is at Salisbury Road, Totton Southampton, SO40 2RW, car parking is not available at the ground but there is plenty of free parking both on and off street 100 metres away on the Calmore Industrial estate.
