Southampton Announce New Date For Liverpool Game
Saints have announced the date for the game against Liverpool, which has needed to be postponed from the weekend of 15th/16th May due to the Merseyside's participation in the FA Cup Final on the Saturday.
The new date is no surprise as Liverpool have no midweek dates free between now and the final weekend of the premier league season aside from the one just announced, with Liverpool now visiting St Mary's on Tuesday 17th May at 7.45pm, as you will not be surprised to hear, it will be broadcast by Sky.
Many Saints fans seem to have a pathological hatred for all things Liverpool, but they will be hoping that on one hand Liverpool have won through to the Champions league Final whilst at the same time on the other have blown the title race to Manchester City, therefore leaving them to concentrate on preparations for the Champions League Final.
Although I'm sure many just hope that Liverpool arrive at St Mary's with a chance of the league title and just blow it on the night.
