Saints Will Play Tottenham Hotspur On The Opening Day
Today is the day we have all been waiting for, the Premier League fixtures are out and now we know where we will be on any given weekend over the next 11 months. So find out the key dates here.
Although we find out the fixtures today, the truth is that we won't exactly find out what date they will be played on with probably only around half ending up being played at the exact date and kick off time that they are scheduled from in today's released fixture list.
But we will find some sort of schedule that will tell us whether we will be home or away and therefore make some sort of plans for that weekend.
Saints will be away to Spurs on the opening day, this will be played on the Saturday with Crystal Palace V Arsenal scheduled for the Friday evening and Man Utd v Brighton & West Ham v Man City on the Sunday.
Saints will follow the opening weekend up with a home game against Leeds United, before a trip to Leicester City and home games against Manchester United and Chelsea to round off the month of August.
The full opening day fixtures on Saturday 6th August are
Bournemouth v Aston Villa
Everton v Chelsea
Fulham v Liverpool
Leeds v Wolves
Leicester v Brentford
Newcastle v Nottingham Forest
Tottenham v Southampton
