Bella Kotchap To Miss Trip To Bournemouth
Saints hopes of a win at Bournemouth on Wednesday have suffered a setback with the news that Armel Bella- Kotchap won't be available after dislocating his shoulder in the draw with West Ham United on Sunday.
The German International will miss the trip to Bournemouth but as of yet it is unclear how many games he will miss going forward,
"Doesn’t look good for Armel, he’ll be out on Wednesday,” confirmed Hasenhüttl. "It’s not so sure in what direction we are going.
"If we need a surgery for him or if we do it without. I think he wants to try without, mobilising the shoulder, then coming back in maybe two weeks, three weeks. Otherwise it will take longer.
"This is definitely a loss for us, again. So longer term injuries are not the best for a team that is looking for results.”
That means Saints are currently without three of their brightest young stars with Armel-Kotchap joining Romeo Lavia and Tino Livramento on the longer term injury list.
However there is some good news in that it will give another new signing Duje Caleta-Car the chance to show just why we signed him.
