Saints At Huddersfield In Pictures

We delve back into our photo archives to take a look at the last couple of occasions that Southampton have travelled to Huddersfield Town, here we travel back to August 2017 and December 2018 when both clubs were in the Premier League.

Were you at the League meeting in August 2017 when Mauricio Pellegrino was in charge for his first away game as manager of the club, or the following season when Ralph Hasenhuttl was looking for his first away victory.

As you may recall the 2017 game ended 0-0, but 16 months later Ralph Hasenhuttl followed up a 3-2 win at home against Arsenal with a 3-1 success at Huddersfield on a cold winters day in Yorkshire, to make it two wins out of three at the start of his Southampton career, Nathan Redmond & a Danny Ings penalty gave us a 2-0 half time lead, the home side pulled one back around the hour mark before Michal Obafemi sealed the game with a goal in the 71st minute.
