Perkins MOTM for Chesterfield match
In perhaps the most predictable Player Ratings that we've had since we introduced them on to the site, David Perkins was named as man of the match for the Chesterfield game.
Not only that, he did so with one of the highest average ratings of any player since the option to give Player Ratings was brought on to RochdaleAFC.com earlier this season.
And it was no surprise given that he came up with arguably the best hat trick ever scored by a Dale player with all three goals being of the highest quality.
His closest contenders for this award were Rory McArdle and Nathan Stanton, but to call them "closest" makes it suggest there may have been some doubt about who would pick up this award.
