Support Southampton's Non :League Teams This Weekend
With Saints again not playing a fixture this weekend, why not pop down and watch one of the area's non league teams on Saturday, AFC Totton & Sholing are both at home and Totton have a lot to play for.
AFC Totton take on Dorchester Town at the Snows Stadium on Saturday at 3pm, last weekend's defeat at Hanwell have seen the Stags fall further behind Merthyr Town who top the league, however if the Welsh side were to slip up this weekend and Totton beat Dorchester, the race for the Automatic Promotion spot in the Southern League Premier South might not yet be over.
If it is then Totton are still not certain of finishing 2nd, Walton & Hersham are only 3 points behind, although the Stags have a game in hand with 7 games left to play over their rivals who all have just 6.
Finishing 2nd is vital as it means that in the potential two play off games, both would be played at home.
Another big crowd is expected at the Snows Stadium and more details cane be found Here including buying tickets in advance which are a few pounds cheaper than paying on the day.
Across the City Sholing are also at home and they host Hanwell, this one is a little bit of a dead rubber, Hanwell are a point ahead of the Boatmen, but neither are in danger of getting into the play offs, nor for that matter getting into relegation trouble.
