Saints Travel To Fulham In The FA Cup 5th Round
Southampton fans hoped for a lower ranked club at home in the FA Cup draw and although they avoided some of the very big guns, they ended up getting a Premier League side away from home.
The draw was not kind to Saints but it could have been crueller, a visit to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham side who still harbour hopes of a place in Europe through their League places is not ideal, but it is one that we might fancy causing an upset in.
The full draw for the ties to be played over the weekend of 7th- 8th March is
Fulham v Southampton
Port Vale or Bristol City v Sunderland
Newcastle v Manchester City
Leeds United v Norwich City
Mansfield Town v Arsenal
Wolves v Liverpool
Wrexham v Chelsea
West Ham v Macclesfield or Brentford
