It's going to be a busy day in Southampton, not only are Saints taking on Bristol City in front of 30,000 at St Mary's, but it is Music In The City Southampton, a day long extravaganza of local bands & performers across all genres.
This is of course going to have an impact on traffic if you are going to St Mary's, so allow more time for your journey, but why not take a look at some of what is going on during the day.
There are 422 acts with 1,805 musicians playing in 59 venues across 48 genres, there is something for everyone there.
Venues are as diverse as utilising the series of medieval vaults that are situated under the Old Town, to pubs, gardens and open public spaces.
All of the venues are free and most acts will be play around a 45 minute set.

7pm Joiners Arms, St Mary's Street - Local legends & John Peel favourites from the late 80/s early 90's Accrington Stanley make a rare reunion appearance, not to be missed if you are a fan of indie music of that era.
9pm, Overdraft, Carlton Place - Dan O'Farrell of the above Accrington Stanley perhaps one of the best songwriters and Lyricists the City has produced, makes a quick dash to play with his current band.
10pm - Heartbreakers, Hanover Buildings - A quick dash from Overdraft to Heartbreakers will bring you to Zombie'ites who were formed from the ashes of Southampton punk legends the Flying Alexanders. Guitarist Perry Flatt was also in The Valley Slags, older readers will remember The Legend Of The Saint smash hit Le Tissier single in 1995. With a new album just released another not to be missed.
But if you are in Southampton City centre on Saturday it will be hard to avoid so enjoy, this is one of the few things this City does really well.
