Workers at Virgin Atlantic are being told to take 8 weeks UNPAID leave.
So Britains second wealthiest man Richatd Branson is happy to take all the profits in the good times but in the bad times the workers pay. The mans a cůnt.

People I know who work for Virgin Atlantic in my experience have only had good things to say about it and get plenty of perks. 8 weeks is a long time but the alternative might be no job at all to come back to. Not saying it’s right but..

He also sued the NHS and took money from it that we put in
Now he wants us, because it’s the taxpayers money not the governments, to bail him out
Scum

Aviation is about to be decimated. Some airlines will most certainly fold. Whatever can be done to try & protect thousands of jobs should be done. https://www.cityam.com/unite-joins-calls-for-government-rescue-package-for-airli

Exactly. Which is why Branson should stick his hand in his pocket before asking all his workers to do so.

At these times people like Branson have a civic responsibility and a responsibility to his workers. What a coont of a man he has shown he is.

He's been getting contracts from our NHS budgets for the last 10 years, we should not be giving money for public health to people making profits out of illness in my opinion

France btw has cancelled all utility bills, all energy bills and rent for a month.

Spain has requisitioned all private health resources immediately

Our government meanwhile is renting beds off private hospitals costing us money. Our government is begging manufacturers to make ventilators. We should be ordering them to make them.

Our government is letting Branson get away with not paying his staff for 8 weeks.

When is this government going to grow a pair and govern for the people? Why did we leave Europe if this is what it will be like?

The first responsibility of government is to maintain the safety and security of the people. Boris and co are just shrugging their shoulders and saying its not their responsibility

Now wait for the country that has (allegedly) created this virus resulting in a financial crash pretty much worldwide to start buying up all these struggling companies!

I think that this virus is a game changer. When we come out of this crisis it's going to be like coming out of ww2. The rich are going to find that the poor will not allow them to carry on like it was. After ww2 Churchill was thrown out and that is going to happen to Johnson. After an event on the scale of a world war or a plague history teaches us that. It's a precedent that has endured.

A lot of people are going to become very poor very quickly as our economy collapses and it is for people like Branson to pick up the bill.

A lot of people are not going to be able to pay their mortgages or their rent, food is going to be short, this should be the first port of call for government not billionaires hiding out on their island retreats.

Now Pret a Manger are at it. Nearly all their cafe staff are on minimum wage, but that is now going to be cut along with staff hours for a minimum of 3 months !!!! Funny how the management know how long thus is going on for when nobody else does.
Oh and Pret a Manger owned privately buy the billionaire Reimann family.
