that's not actually true

It was 500k if no action taken
250k if they only isolate the those with symptom
20k if they take action they have done

Blimey, seems one of our neighbours was taken to hospital in the night with suspected Covid-19.

I hear he’s been put on one of the new Dyson ventilators and is now picking up nicely...

So your hopeful estimate of less than 1,000 deaths lasted less than 1 day

A further 260 deaths in last 24hours taking it to 1,029 in the UK.

We are still climbing that curve and its going to get a lot worse, your theories are proving to be a bit wide the mark.

In the early stages of the outbreak, the NHS would also indicate that in every case the patient had other "underlying health issues". I haven't seen that lately. Has anyone seen any current data on the curve of mortality where the victim was otherwise healthy and fit before contracting the disease? I'm not about to make some smart alec point - I'm just interested.

I heard last night that my brothers mother and father in laws (both in their early 80s) have had a call from the doctors saying if they contract it they will not survive and would only be given end of life care at home.

Keep an eye on Sweden and Holland who are adopting our abandoned herd immunity approach.
