This made me laugh. Our pet obsessed Worzel was referring to this as some great sporting triumph for Little Pompey. Note who the last 2 titles were won by:

But, the 4 national basketball titles won by Southampton teams are nothing compared to the 5 national league titles and 2 European club championships won by the City of Southampton Swimming Club or the long list of World, Olympic, Commonwealth and European gold medallists from the city.
Poor Little Pompey will never catch up with us. It's just not a sporting town, is it?
