Good To Be Back !!
All well planned and marshalled regarding getting in and out and they got the distancing right with the seat allocations.
Great to see a decent number of fans back in, although it did seem a little strange. Some good signing and quite a good atmosphere, although there were times when it seemed eerily quiet - none more so than when the first goal went in. There was a huge delayed reaction, but that was perhaps down to the nature of the goal and no away fans.
We sat a few rows further forward than normal, but in the same block.
The main difference for us (despite the obvious) was that we had to get in the ground at 5pm. We usually get there around 10-15 mins before kick-off. It was fine though. Chat and reading the Ugly and the time soon went.
As we got in early, we were able to see the Keepers go through their warm up routines. Often they would be diving one way, getting up quickly and then diving to the other side. My daughter said after the game, why did McCarthy practice that in the warm up, but not do it in the game !! :-) |  |

I thought it was great. We had an earlier start on our ticket but didn't get there until just before kick off and no one seemed to bother. Everything was very efficient and pretty easy I thought.
The only thing I didn't like was having to wear a mask during the game. It steamed up my glasses and it meant that I couldn't shout 'encouragement' to Djenepo as much as I would have liked! As it's outside, hopefully they will relax that in due course. |  |

I wasn’t overly bothered about going but my eldest was keen so bought the tickets. The walk to the ground was great, turns out I missed that more than I thought. Bought one of the sausage rolls pre-game, it was very nice. The atmosphere mirrored the match, was great the first 20-25 mins then faded badly. All in all it was good to be back, despite the football! lol |  | | |

Good to be watching live football again. But a lot of people didn't stick to their time. Lots turned up at ten to six and I know the stewards just started letting people in without checking their Id to get people in. Good atmosphere at the start but strange without away fans and felt a bit like a friendly where people were "just sat there". Obviously no hugging or banging on the boards at the back of stand. So better to watch live football than not, but nothing like the atmosphere of a full house with away fans. It was more of a theatrical experience, where we all had to sit there with our masks on and wait to be dismissed a row at a time at the end etc etc. Really hope we get back to full crowds come September. It's not the same without the banter with the away fans. The club managed the evening well though I thought. [Post edited 19 May 2021 20:45]

Enjoyed it. The atmosphere was better than I tought it would be and seemed loud though not sure how it sounded if not in the thick of it or on the tv.
We got in about 20 mins later than on the ticket but there were quite a few in the wrong coloured entrance, But well organised, even going for a pee!
It was strange when they scored though as deathly silent apart from their bench and a few of their players |  | | |

Was able to socialise with friends, even Nick on the concourse, which was great and end of game fans allowed to leave without control rather than waiting for Stewards to say ok
my only issue was toilets where no stewards were controlling numbers, which i thought should have been restricted [Post edited 20 May 2021 11:25]

They did make an announcement about waiting for the stewards to direct people out, but when Leeds scored loads just got up and there was a deluge before the stewards could do anything | |

I got there too early and was told I could queue in any gate, despite my ticket saying yellow. All 8 queues in purple then filtered into one bloke scanning our tickets, which was a bit shit. No one checking anything or watching numbers inside. Don’t even care about the result. Was just great to be back. |  |
