Norwich Complete Signing Of Angus Gunn From Southampton 23rd Jun 2021 12:31
Norwich City have announced they have completed the signing of Angus Gunn from Saints, sadly things didn't work out for the goalkeeper at St Mary's but good luck to him as he returns to Carrow Road. 6

Even here you can help but be a full-time apologist for the club.

Signed for 10m, but some of it appearance related was it?

Funny, everyone else reported it as £13.5m......

I can check half a dozen football websites and I find different fees on all of them

Transfermarkt £10.17 million

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/angus-gunn/profil/spieler/201574

Soccerbase £10 million

https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=93233&season_id=153

Manchester Evening News £10 million although they are obviously a failing print media outlet staffed by £15 k a year trainee journalists

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-tr

Your constant efforts to try and make yourself look knowledgeable and paint me as 1980's throwback are very flattering but also quite tedious

So you went for the lowest you could find (and then added a caveat that even all of that was probably not spent), yes?

Nothing to do with the 80s here Nick (you are just obsessed with that time!) - this is down to how amusing it is to see how completely the club bought your loyalty by getting rid of Cortese.

I genuinely think if Gao announce tomorrow he was shutting up shop for Southampton FC and bulldozering SMS to put in a Lidl, you would urge fans to thank him for giving us a good run in the PL and that we could look forward to picking up a few bargains on the meat counter.

Lol. Indeed! If only Nick employed the same amount of objectivity now!!! Forren was used as a stick to beat the club with time and time again by him even though we sold him for nearly the same amount as we bought him for!
