Same old on and off pitch.. 09:11 - Aug 15 with 1172 views | stmichael | Team selection unfathomable yet predictable.. Contrast between 1st half and 2nd predictable.. Result - predictable… Song for Adam Armstrong - De De De De De FFS!!!!! Watching Saints on and off the pitch might be the most uninspiring thing I do in life… [Post edited 15 Aug 2021 9:16]

Same old on and off pitch.. on 13:37 - Aug 15 with 1009 views | Monksway | Adams and Armstrong did their job 1-0 up at HT away at a bigger club. Time to SHUT UP SHOP defend and then catch them on the break for a 2-0 win. That is what would have happened if the situation was reversed. Proactive second half substitutes to protect the lead. KWP for Walcott, Diallo for Adam Armstrong and give Everton the problem. Ralph surely knew what to expect in the second half given the number of times it has happened.

Not sure whether it's this as you say, or whether we need to change the tactics or both. At 1 nil up yesterday at a tough away game, we really should have tightened up to see out the storm that was obviously coming, frustrate them and get them on the counter. Instead we still kept playing in an open attacking manner and the defence wasn't tight enough. There isn't enough protection from the other players because they aren't defensively minded and they are too far forward.does this then cause our defenders to panic?

Few of us down the front were trying to get a chant for him going using the Proclaimers '500 miles' - despite us not having a last line As normal no one was arsed about joining in. 18 months away has not improved our away support or their self awareness. Chanting 'Your Support is f**king sh*t" at the Park End when we only had just over 1000 fans up there was embarrassing.

Half the singing from Saints supporters was about Everton rahter than their own team, Gilfi Sigundsson seeming to bear the brunt . Just under 2,000 in total was the allocation taken and just about sold out

Yeah - heard all that. According to our friendly Saints Football Intelligence Officer: "To the 1144 fans who came to Everton, here is a happy photo of the first half. Lovely to see some familiar faces. #saintsfc" So over 500 Saints fans were refused entrance
