I have family contacts at both Derby and Forest. "Wozza" is absolute class and I'm not surprised we're being linked with him. Sure, it's "only" the Championship, etc etc.... but he's ideal for Saints (or any other mid-lower Prem team) and was voted streets ahead of anyone else as their Player of the Season. Sign 2 CBs??? Stephens has 1 year left, wouldn't be a bad idea to sign 2 CD's but seems unlikely. I like the look of this Forest guy, experience but still a good age, more importantly he's a leader. Typically carrying a knock but he'll hit the ground running from early Sept. If we can get him in PLUS find a hybrid CDM/CB player as well that would boost the squad where we're seriously weak at present (keeper aside). |  | | |
