Juanmi - remember him - is having a brilliant season in Spain. He scored a hat-trick last week and his winning goal v Barcelona today took his Real Betis team into the top 4.
He is the 2nd highest scorer in La Liga behind Benzema.
He only played 90 minutes for us once, when he scored in a 6-0 win at MK Dons in the EFL Cup. Apart from that he just got a few minutes as a sub before he was sent back to Spain.

He has finally hit a purple patch, after leaving us more than 5 years ago.
It is rather surprising too, as he only managed 2 goals in La Liga for Betis last season and 1 the season before that !!
I don't think he would make anyone else's team of ex-Saints players.
....and I'm sure he never scored for us. I was at the MK Dons game you mentioned, famed for the 'Mars Bar On His Head' song and can confirm that Mane, JayRod and Long each scored braces.
He's got the highest goals per minutes (1 every 90 minutes) and highest goals from shots percentage (43%) in La Liga. He's scored 10 goals from 23 shots at goal so far this season. We have that many shots and don't score at all.

He was a young player at Saints. A stranger in a strange land. Maybe that experience has resulted in the player we see today. Well done and good for him.
