Lawrie McMenemy first arrived at Southampton Football Club in the summer of 1973 and some Saints supporters have started to campaign for his name to be recognised by the City itself by renaming the Itchen Bridge in his honour. 13

Well OTT to change the name of the bridge, more realistic is to change britannia road to McMenemy way
