I've always wondered where new incoming players live when they join us.
I know that the club did own a few properties locally but not enough to accommodate all the of players we've brought in.

I lived in Chilworth with my parents 45 odd years ago,A lovely house down a road opposite The Clump which is now The Chilworth Arms.
Peter Shilton had a house just up the road, James Beattie did too I believe.
I worked in estate agency for many years and I know that some players lived in Ocean Village ie Peter Crouch, Matt le Tiss lived there for a while too , also some in the Chilworth and Chandlers Ford areas. Our company had dealings with some top cricketers such as Shane Warne who lived in Otterbourne near Chandlers Ford and Kevin Peterson who lived in Ocean Village. Kelvin Davis lives in Chandlers Ford , there’s been others . I met a few stars whilst working as an Estate agent . [Post edited 8 Nov 8:12]

I do remember Ivan Golac (anyone remember him) living in a House owned by the club in North Millers Dale, Chandlers Ford.

I lived in Chilworth 7/8 years but I consider chandlers Ford to be my home lived there 20 years, just sold a house there . Now live in Winchester but chandlers Ford will always be very close to my heart. Worked as an Agent in chandlers Ford and Oxford street near ocean village. My dad also had his own estate agency in c Ford . | |
