In the away end, at the top, it looked like a block of about 150 seats completely empty. Yet this game has been sold out for weeks and I knew lots of people who wanted tickets. If this is the section they gave to "friends and family of the club", why the f@ck don't these friends and family send their tickets back for sale, if they don't intend to use them? I really hope this doesn't happen at Pompey, where a few of these friends and family just don't bother using them. |  |

It's definitely happened before, and loyal fans who want tickets really should be made aware of what is happening here. Who gets given these tickets and then don't bother turning up? It's really not fair if a group of say 150 people have reserved seats for every game, but barely turn up to support the team, unless it's a big game, particularly for the Pompey game, when every true fan of this club is desperate for a ticket.
I might email the club, but not sure I will get a reply. It's crazy that the game is sold out, then a whole section of seats is empty on the day. I don't think friends and family of club staff, who rarely go to games should be getting tickets ahead of loyal fans if that's the case. [Post edited 23 Nov 23:11]
