But even then, the Charlton and Leicester results have given him a lot of credit. Confidently beating two decent teams (for this league) is exactly what the team needs.
Furthermore, the way we attack is brilliant: we're quicker, more creative and more clinical. This is a problem that Still, Rusk, Juric and (at least in the Prem) Martin all failed to solve.
I wouldn't complain if he was appointed permanently
Wait till Millwall ? So if we lose 1-0 with a late winner then he’s not up the job. Ffs. Give the man the job. He’s a breath of fresh air and in the absence of any credible alternatives then he’s the best option.

Why not keep him as caretaker manger until the end of the season and see where we are It could all turn sour quickly and then we will all be shouting to sack the manager

That would be a sensible thing to do, but we did that with Selles & Rusk and it didn't work out

Give the man the job at least till the end of the season. The way he is going and the difference he has made in such a short time I wouldn’t mind if they gave him a longer contract. For the first time in god knows how long it feels good to be a Saints fan.

As you've already mentioned, they need to give him a contract NOW. There's no doubt that he's already on the radar of clubs who need a new manager. Four wins in a row from a standing start is no mean feat. And he's not afraid to drop Stephens

I dont see any other viable alternative during the season thats going to be any better. We are playing as a team 'now' and we will lose games. But its a million miles better than the first 13 games of the season. I would like to see a real good assistant set up which includes the best we can get in data analysts. We clealy need to get involved in AI on that front as well.

Broadly agree but the data analysts are no substitute for a team of well drilled players and a man who, somehow, knows almost instinctively how to get the best out of them.
It is beyond all understanding the difference between now and three weeks ago. I don'tknow how he does it but my Saintsfollowing experience is much better than it has been for a very long time so from a fan's perspective, get him signed up!
