It seems someone in the media is trying to stir things up between the 2 clubs.
1st about the ticket price and Saints charging more, then the fact we gave Middlesbrough the same allocation as they’ve given us and now this.

I'm assuming this story has credibility because otherwise we'd be shouting our innocence from the rooftops by now - it wouldn't take long to talk to the first team analyst. If it does turn out to be true it's very shoddy because a) we are exposed to a charge which will carry quite major consequences if we are found guilty and b) it is an unwelcome distraction in our preparation for two crucial games.
Fans may try to play this down and claim it is mind games on the part of Boro but it is unlikely they'd have made the official complaint unless they were very sure they have a case.
My guess is that nothing good will come out of this for us and Boro will use it as another way to motivate their players and fans.
I guess we could claim the guy was acting without club authority and sack him - might be the least painful option but the whole thing is a mess. | | | |

It all seems a bit odd because to capture anything worthwhile, particularly audio, with a mobile phone would require the person to be virtually on top of the training pitch.
If we have done this any punishment would wait until next season. Bearing in mind Leicester got away with a six point deduction for very serious and consistent financial miscodnduct I would imagine we'd just get a £250k - £500k fine

Why make the person delete the footage? Surely confiscate his phone and call the police. If there is no film footage there is very little evidence. | | | |
