| Big favourites now 11:06 - May 13 with 1709 views | Ifonly | The bookies odds mean they reckon we have about a 70% chance and Hull 30%. I thought we'd be favourites against anyone if we got to the final and Hull are supposedly the weakest of the 4 play off teams, but even so that's heavy backing for Saints, in a one-off game against a team who won at Millwall and we've lost to twice this season. I would have said about 60/40 would be fairer but we're deserved favourites now whichever way you look at it. | | | | |

also recently drew with Leicester and lost to Charlton. But of course you never underestimate any team, that would be the mother of all f ups. See where their weaknesses lie and expose them and shut down their playmakers

I reckon we should spy on their training sessions.

I just laid us at 2/5 with Bet Fred...we'll drift from there I think.
| Big favourites now on 12:56 - May 13 with 1381 views | jopreston | It's a cup final. It's 50-50. Yes on paper and form we are the better team but that means nothing in a one off massive game like this. Plus, we could well end up with no THB in defence and that is a big loss right now. | | | |
| Big favourites now on 13:04 - May 13 with 1366 views | franniesTache | Hull are a decent side who've had the measure of us twice already this season, they'll be going into it underdogs but i think they'll be happy with that as it reduces the pressure on them a bit. I think they'll also be pretty confident they can score against us so won't be particularly worried about that. My feeling is it'll be a tight game and i wouldn't be shocked if hull won it | | | |
| Big favourites now on 14:50 - May 13 with 1272 views | shotters | Would be rather ironic if our unbeaten run was ended by the last team to beat us in the league According to my Millwall pal, they didn't turn up on Monday and Hull dealt with the occasion better One very important factor could be the ramifications of what THB is alleged to have said to Luke Ayling, if true I wouldn't be surprised to him to receive a ban which would probably include the final | |

For pity sake have we now reached the point where players can’t have a crack at each other verbally without the prospect of being banned ? Last time I looked both these guys where white so it can’t be any racial

It's not racial. THB is alleged to have taken the p1ss out of Ayling's stutter. A stutter is now recognised as a disability so taking the p1ss is prohibited....

THB reputedly said "What did you say?" twice to Ayling. Ayling was trying to distract from the fact that he'd just deliberately injured Scienza with a terrible tackle/assault, which should have been a second yellow or a straight red, and that's why the argument with an irate THB started. As for the ball boy incident. Targett had a ball in front of where he was taking the throw-in but walked away from it along the touchline towards the ball boy in order to waste time. This annoyed everyone, including the ball boy ,who pointed out to him that he already had a ball there. Boro players were trying every dirty trick in the book and injuring our most skilful player was on the agenda. I just hope he can recover to play in the final.. [Post edited 13 May 15:53]

From where I was it looked like Targett was trying to claim there was an issue with the ball went it went out of play, basically delaying tactics, and went to get another one. For a club who seem to be portraying themselves as some kind of moral puritans it's not a good look to start bullying a child Imo the pretty poisonous atmosphere last night was created by their manager and his slightly unhinged comments after Saturdays game One thing that made me laugh was seeing the reaction of grown men in their end after a chant in the chapel aimed at their chairman. I saw one of them looked so angry he was close to bursting into tears

Yep, not nice Whilst I appreciate it was a very tense occasion and Ayling was kicking the shit out of Scienza at every occasion, he was a very lucky boy to stay on the pitch imo, that's not acceptable It's also not very smart in the current climate as it more ammunition for the Boro to try and claim the moral high ground

Our defenders will need to be on their game. THB playing is a must. Would not fancy Wood and Stephens at our central defensive partnership. If we can keep their chances to a minimum I fancy us.
