| Spy At Boro's Name Revealed on 17:14 - May 13 with 2691 views | NYC_Saint | According to the story he is listed as an "intern". This makes the story of "lone wolf trying to get a leg up" more likely and the plausible deniability at the senior coaching level easier to argue. It's still all very stupid and paints the club in a very poor light. However, the intimation a senior analyst with sophisticated equipment that had to have been directed by the club looks thinner and thinner. I think the expulsion likelihood is becoming very unlikely. | | | |
| Spy At Boro's Name Revealed on 17:24 - May 13 with 2626 views | 1885_SFC | All he had to do was purchase a tiny drone under 250g and bugger off a couple of fields away & fly it over their training ground. The quality of spies these days is abysmal. No wonder MI6 openly recruit in the national media. | |

| Spy At Boro's Name Revealed on 17:28 - May 13 with 2604 views | UTS1885 | Yeah its beena round a while but clearly Boro are going down the sewer approach disclosing allsorts to the media. Boro have now told the media they looked at someones card details after payment in the club shop is pathetic and proabbly breaches data privacy. [Post edited 13 May 18:29]

The Daily Mail picture is interesting. All he's got is a phone. Phones are not made to pick up distant noises. They are designed to record your voice when you are very near to it. They can just about record a conversation if you are within 3ft and in a quiet room, but highly unlikely that they could pick up anything from 50-100 yards away (the distance he was judging from Sky report), outside with a bit of wind etc. The first reports suggested that he was equipped with a sensitive microphone, which would have had to have been an additional bit of hardware, which is not in evidence. This doesn't seem like a sophisticated operation. Perhaps it was just a lone wolf.

I don't say you're wrong. But If it were true that he did it completely off his own bat, surely the club would say just that....The club could then say the lad was wrong but deserving of a break, being young and naive. He could give fu*kwit Gibson a personal apology and on we go. we get fined...nothing more to see here. The fact that none of that has happened makes me fear that others in the club are up to their necks in it too. An old friend (Saints fan and retired lawyer) gave me this summary... In such cases normally one party is lying through their teeth. A good lawyer will quickly work out who that is and set about destroying their case. Now and again it happens that everyone is lying through their teeth. this makes the case far more complicated (and expensive) | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The club are right to say nothing until the hearing or whatever the procedure is going to be. They first need to get all their ducks in a row, so to speak.

Their MP sounds like a barrel of laughs. Being an international big-hitter he was lobbed out of the Labour Party a couple of years ago for chanting " From the River to the Sea " down a microphone at a pro- Palestine rally...he was reinstated after a year and set about suing a Tory MP who called him a tw*t for saying it.

| Spy At Boro's Name Revealed on 17:04 - May 13 by yateleysaint | Once my sister-in-law went to the supermarket (I’m guessing Asda, Farnborough) with her Dad to buy booze. Despite being in her thirties at the time, she got ID-ed and didn’t have anything on her. She said that her Dad could vouch for her age so she turned around to him and he replied “I’ve never seen this woman in my life!” That’s what Tonda should do with Will Salt. Despite there being photographic evidence to the contrary. |
Lucky girl, getting ID'd in her 30's! But did she get her booze ..............
