Had it on in the background whilst doing other things
Poor game which only became more interesting after Man City scored, really good finish and the only bit of quality in the whole game
Fair amount of empty seats, according to the commentator the attendance was "800 odd down on last year, but it's an expensive day out"
The FA have really ruined the cup imo, semi finals shouldn't be at Wembley and it should be the final game of the season

The best bit was the post match punditry.

Rooney seemed to be speaking in some Uzbekistani dialect

Had it on but missed the disallowed goal from Harland, player off side in the build up, only interested as the Celtic goal scorer was off side in the build up but goal got given by VAR, wondered how similar it was but different decision?

The favouritism shown by officials towards Celtic and against Hearts in recent games almost reached the level where you expected the referee to raise his arms in celebration after scoring the winning goal for Celtic today.

I've said elsewhere I thought the Celtic goal was offside, but must admit I may have misunderstood the O/S rule. Then again no one knows nowadays anyway. At least that gives the officials the chance to award goals for the big clubs as required

Hi Kingsland, that's why I was interested, how in one game the goal is given and the other not, is the offside rule different in different Scotland?

Apparently VAR is so I believe, but the rules should be the same

The Celtic scorer clearly had an advantage being off side in the buildup being goal side of the defenders by a yard or so but VAR gave it against the on field decision, just confirms to me that VAR is rigged to help the big clubs, as we all know!

It's exactly the same rule in England. You can be in an offside position when someone else receives the ball and then receive the ball when you are onside, no problem. Seen it before, including at crosses from free kicks when the player who scores is offside when the kick is taken (sometimes deliberately so they are free of a marker) but then is onside when they pick up the second ball.

Yesterday was the first time since the end of season split promotion / relegation format for the division was introduced that the team top of the table at the time the League schedule those final fixtures was not given a home game. Hearts were top at the time so were expecting home advantage. To schedule the game giving Celtic home advantage was deliberate and in addition Celtic were allowed to give Hearts an allocation of just 726 tickets in a 60,000 seat stadium. No additional away seats were left empty, they were all sold to Celtic fans to give the home team maximum advantage in their biggest home crowd of the season. Basically, Hearts were up against 11 opposition players, the ref, VAR, the League and just over a 1% ticket allocation to ensure any vocal support for them was minimalised. About as easy as trying to push water uphill…
