So we'll be losing a few players going out of contract. With loans ending as well. We know Peretz has already vacated the premises. The likes of Smallbone, Taylor, Romeu, McCarthy, Long, Jelert and Larrin will follow. I expect Ramsdale, Jander , Scienza and THB will be sold as they won't play in the Championship again.
Year 2 PP measn we'll have to continue a reduction of the wage bill. Luckily there are lots of savings to be made as the squad was quite bloated.
Here os my prediction
GK - Baz (loan Return), Moody (graduate), (New No.1 GK to sign)
RB - Bree (Extention), Roarslev
LB - Manning, Welington
CB - Stephens, Quarshie,Wood (new No.1 CB to sign)
CM- Downes, Bragg, Charles, Williams, Sesay
LW - Edozie,BB Diaz
RW - Fellows, Matsuki
ST - Stewart (Extension),OYekunle, Archer
The left overs are not too bad,
EDIT : Left out Azaz as well, however I think he'll be sold. I hope not though

Good point.He did look good when he was getting game time, but not so good when he was back as a fringe player. Might be worth a shout for the first team. | |

We are back to the old need to strengthen the spine of the team above all else. New GK and CB required as you say. But we will also need a new CF (2 if RS leaves) because:
- Stewart needs to be rotated, as he has been with Larin
- Oyekunle not good enough (yet?)
- Archer not a CF
- Downs not mentioned above, I can understand why people want to to forget him, not a CF anyway
I only hope that Spors has learned his lesson in the difference between Downs and Larin. If Spors goes back to thinking we can just have utility forwards then we will go back to struggling. |  | | |

I think Bragg looks a real find, and he will be a big player for us next season.

Charles will be gone as he only has 1 year left and has turned down a new deal.If bazunu is anywhere near our goal next season I will be finding something else to do on a Saturday,he really is that bad.Im probably going to be on my own on this one but apart from odd flashes of brilliance we actually looked a more rounded and effective team when he was injured,opponents had reduced his effectiveness later in the season.Maybe we saw in the end why a guy with his talent at 28 hadn't hit the big time yet. | | | |

I think thats overly negative. I think this side with 2-3 key signings could at least make the playoffs again. Leo is going to be the biggest loss as we don't have anyone else in there to unlock defences, apart from maybe Azaz and I think he'll go. If we can keep hold of one of them we'll be fine. | |
