Following a club review of the sustainability of the women's and girls' programme, Saints plan to drop class from Category One to Category Two.
The club's Category One academy status in the men's game is unaffected.

On the one hand I’m pleased the club help women’s football, but on the other hand I’d never watch it and certainly don’t want my season ticket money going towards anything other than helping the men’s first XI succeed. |  |

I have no real interest in woman's football, but the way that the club has handled this is appalling.
Leave it to the last moment to inform them that their offers were being withdrawn, meaning that there is little chance of finding new clubs as most have filled there quotas for the season. Why did the club not tell everyone what was happening at the end of the season? It is not something that will have been decided in the last few days.
