My prediction is 2-1 France but the game goes to extra time. Ironically my prediction for England Argentina is 2-1 England in normal time. Think France walk the final no matter who they play though

| France V Spain on 16:20 - Jul 14 with 3000 views | Wints76 | Assuming England win, then I'd probably prefer a Spanish win but maybe with a couple of red cards and injuries France are undoubtedly the best team there but it annoys me a bit that I am not sure they are as arsed about football as us, Argentina, Spain, Germany etc etc (i.e. I am jealous) | | | |

I think that there are some very passionate fans of French clubs, such as PSG and Marseille. But they are largely unfussed about their national side, and certainly don't travel in big numbers to support them away. Similarly Spain. I think England has phenomenal support for its national team. The crowds we get for home games are pretty much unmatched across the world, particularly against crap teams. [Post edited 14 Jul 16:53]

| France V Spain on 16:55 - Jul 14 with 2929 views | DorsetIan | I'd like to play France in the final. They're a very good team but so are we and we can beat them. But tbh I don't really care. We get to the final, we get the chance to win another World Cup. And now we've got a German manager we might just do that! | |

The best four sides are left. FIFA rankings has the top 4 teams in the world left to fight it out .

Maybe TV didn't do it justice, but it seemed to be a very flat atmosphere for a World Cup Semi-final; more like a friendly. It was also a very flat performance from France. It was as if all of their players were suffering from a bad case of flu. A surprisingly comfortable win for Spain. He's probably been the player I've disliked the most in recent years, for his antics with his hair and his constant whining at referees, but I have to admit that Cucurella is one hell of a footballer. Isn’t Cucurella a Madrid player ??

Thought there was a problem with the sound on my TV..but no..it was the plaintive sound of French players choking. French full back will be remembered for the rest of his life as the man who conceded a pen by kicking a nearby Spaniard up the arse. All on Bastille Day, poor lambs.

He's never played for Real Madrid. They signed him after the World Cup finals started so he was still listed as a Chelsea player on the squad list. Good signing for them though.

So the answer is yes is a madrid player. Like Elliot Anderson is a Man City player.

Yep, the media love-in for France has been off the scale, yet all the time Spain's incredible run of wins has been ignored. Spain once again showed how far below them France are, essentially a European team beating an African team.

I woke up this morning thinking about how comfortable that was for Spain. They didn't seem to break a sweat. It was almost as though they had put some sort of magic spell on France to stop them playing. Spain absolutely walked it. Astonishing really in a WC semi-final.

As my mention of the lack of Real Madrid players in Spain's squad has obviously bothered at least 2 people, I've deleted it. I aim to please. Everybody should be happy now :)) We'll be even happier if England can beat both Argentina and Spain, won't we? [Post edited 15 Jul 13:07]
