England did the same against Croatia in 2018 and Italy in 2021. The best form of defence should have been attack. Bring on fresh players like Saka or Eze who have pace, can keep hold of the ball and could stretch them not Dan Burn FFS. | | | |

Everyone makes mistakes but that was horrendous. Tuchel completely bottled it. Cape Verde gave it a go more than England did. It was obvious to everyone watching the game apart from Tuchel that England needed an out to get us up the pitch. We had players sitting on the bench that could do it but he puts on defenders with over 30 minutes to go. Kane should have been taken off but he bottled that as well. Tuchel is not a great manager and shouldn’t be near the England job for that.
As for the final I really hope Spain win. What an horrible team Argentina are. |  |

I was screaming at the tv “bring on Saka or Rashford !” We should have gone for the 2 nd not try and desperately cling on to a one goal lead. FFS I honestly thought Tuchel was better than that but it’s just the same old story. So disappointing. |  |
