In hindsight there wasn’t one decent performance from England at the World Cup. 20mins in the second half against Croatia was it. It was a replica performance of Southgates efforts. I want to see that team have a proper go rather than the crap that was served up .

I don't blame him for speaking his mind. I like that about him and what he's saying here has an element of truth about it. How many tournaments have we gone out of by surrendering the ball and defending too deep? It's happened so many times it seems fair to say it's in our DNA.

But as others have said, he was brought in to change that and on this evidence he's not only failed, he's made it worse. It's hard to see how his substitutions were supposed to address the problem and clearly they had the opposite effect. We needed more energy in midfield and upfront so we could keep denying them space, not going to a back 5, which was always going to make us drop even deeper.

Overall I'd give Tuchel 5/10. We were never going to win this tournament and the semi finals is good by England's standards. The win in Mexico was one of our best ever. But the way we went out was really, really poor and he has to take a big chunk of the blame for that.

you're 100% correct we were average at best throughout,defensively as a four poor,stones on the free transfer list,guehi vastly overated,Reece James always injured,djed Spence part of a spurs defence almost relegated.Attacking wise we created little if you take Bellingham little cameos out of it there's very little.In my opinion Argentina would have beaten us no matter what we did,they were just better than us.

I don't agree with that.
We were just a little more than 10 minutes away from beating them.
When England scored they poured forward and we just sat back, that was asking for trouble with Messi up front.
When Argentina went behind they brought on forwards we brought on Defenders.
We should have left Gordon on and not crowd our defence.
We sent a message that we were happy to sit on our lead and Argentina took advantage of that.
Tuchel cost us a World Cup Final with his negative tactics.
Bringing on Rashford and Toney in 96 min was quite frankly ridiculous.

There is only two teams in this world cup which I considered exceptional, one is Spain the other was France.
Football can be a strange old game,if you're given a chance grab it while you can.
